The Young Artist Program at the Commonwealth Lyric Theater, for students aged 5 to 16, offers intensive training in vocal techniques, acting, and dancing, equipping young artists with the skills they need for a successful career in performing arts. Participants get the unique opportunity to perform alongside celebrated adult performers in all of CLT’s productions, gaining invaluable onstage experience.

    Designed by Alexander Prokhorov-Tolstoy, a globally acclaimed voice instructor known for the “ONE TWO THREE SING” method, the program is celebrated for enhancing vocal performance and facilitating voice rehabilitation. Prokhotov-Tolstoy’s innovative teaching has received accolades from the Boston Globe and national media, and his students have appeared on “America’s Got Talent” and performed at major events, including Boston Red Sox games. Thanks to this invaluable experience, CLT Young Artist Program graduates frequently win top international vocal contests and perform at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall and Boston Pops.
