Course Description:
In this course, I aim to equip your child with acting skills that will enhance their everyday life. Here’s what your child will learn:
Emphasis on Process: Our focus is on the journey rather than the destination. Through engaging activities and exercises, children experience the joy of exploration and self-discovery, gaining valuable insights and skills along the way.
Communication Skills: Improve verbal and non-verbal communication, making interactions more effective and engaging.
Confidence Building: Gain self-assurance through performance practice, helping to overcome stage fright and social anxiety.
Emotional Intelligence: Develop a better understanding of emotions, both their own and others, leading to improved empathy and interpersonal relationships.
Creativity and Imagination: Foster creativity and out-of-the-box thinking through improvisation and character development.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Learn to work effectively with others, understanding the importance of cooperation and collective effort in achieving goals.
Problem-Solving Skills: Enhance the ability to think on their feet and handle unexpected situations with poise and creativity.
Celebrating Progress: While the process is paramount, we also recognize the importance of showcasing the children’s achievements. Throughout the year, we’ll organize small performances and showcases for parents to witness their growth. These may include brief presentations or informal performances, providing opportunities for children to share their learning experiences through a play.
In this course, your child will learn the art of theater and gain invaluable life skills for the future.
